The Bible is recognized as Scripture by Latter Day Saints although Joseph Smith said it was full of corruption.

He is the author of the Inspired Version which is owned and used by the Community of Christ.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints uses the King James Version with some footnotes from the Inspired Version.

Inspired Version

Joseph Smith "translated" the King James Version of the Bible from 1830-1833. His translation is a work of revelation rather than a literal translation from one language into another. It contains many additions and corrections. It also omits the book Song of Solomon.

Joseph Smith called it the "new translation," the Community of Christ has called it the Inspired Version, and in 1978 the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints labeled it the Joseph Smith Translation.
