Although new to ODP, I've been involved with computers and the internet since before the inception of the World Wide Web. Introduced to linux approximately seven years ago, I've become an avid linux hacker (the good kind), and enjoy making my small contributions to the open source community. My current project is a database replication tool, which can be found at

I'm currently the Director of Technology Developement for a small software firm on the east coast, and the proud father of two small boys.

Upon finding the Open Documentation Project, I was stunned that the idea of its existence hadn't occurred to me earlier. What works so well for open source software projects ought to work at least as well if not better in a project of this nature. I immediately applied to become an editor, and look forward to making my contribution.
