20+ years business systems analyst and programmer. HP e3000, Boroughs, CDC Cyber, PDP 11, NT. Special computer interests: (business) systems analysis, software engineering, high level languages, human-computer interaction, change management. Chairman of the INTEREX special interest group for HP computer consultants. 12 years experience with the MANMAN MRP/ERP system. Some IFS and PeopleSoft exposure. Independant Consultant 10 years and presently. Occasional free lance writer.

Other Interests (in no particular order): Practical psychology, effective communication (Chris Argyris/Action Science), so-called emotional literacy, hiking, music (esp. vocal & choral), acting, film making, history, public affairs/politics, science fiction, military affairs, male initiation, philosophy, personal development, teaching and writing.
