I have worked professionally in the field of Stop Motion Animation. Today, computer animation seems to be cornering much of the work in the mainstream animation market. Stop Motion is not used as often but still captures the audiences attention when it is done well.
Stop Motion Animation is a hand crafted & hands-on tactile method of animating real dimensional puppets. Again, in spite of the computer/digital dominance, there still seems to be a worldwide interest in this very unique animation art & craft. I feel privileged to be an editor and I hope to find the best available websites/links so that others and a new generation can practice or enjoy Stop Motion Animation and keep it "alive" in the new millennium.
