Profile

Turfgrass scientist at University of Florida Fort Lauderdale, since 1976. Specialties include breeding and genetics, host resistance, statistics, and weed control. Worked three years at Missouri Botanical Garden, organized the filing system and helped coordinate the move of the herbarium to a new building, including navigational guides and placement of families to accomodate expansion.

Experienced in hand setting of type and layout for community newsletters and instruction guides. Started web design in 1997 after reading HTML for Dummies. Specialities include graphics optimization and maps. Currently developing perl scripts for analyzing access logs and web-based exam forms and interactive learning.
